Tom Charlton PhD
During his time at Cambridge Healthcare Research, Tom has worked across a range of therapeutic areas and his experience spans in neurology, rare diseases, CVRM, oncology and infectious disease. Tom is an experienced project manager and has worked to support clients across a variety of projects including monitoring, deep-dives, workshops and conference coverage. Tom regularly attends scientific conferences across Europe and the USA, both virtually and in-person.
Tom holds a PhD in Chemical Biology from Imperial College London and a MSci in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge. Prior to joining CHR, Tom worked a research scientist at the University of Oxford, UK and the University of Chicago, USA where he studied the interactions between bacterial pathogens and the human immune system.
Outside of work, Tom is a keen runner and enjoys cooking, board games and learning Welsh.
