Since joining CHR, Maria has been managing long-term monitoring projects for branded products in a range of therapeutic areas, including oncology, neuroscience and medical aesthetics, building expertise in dissecting complex competitor landscapes across different geographies and drug development stages. Maria has also covered major medical conferences, including for the purpose of scoping out early-stage licensing and acquisition opportunities for clients.
In parallel, Maria is a member of ‘CHR for Society’, an internal committee responsible for driving CHR’s corporate sustainability commitment. That’s why she spends some of her time planning and organising various activities, from book clubs to beach cleaning and other fun charity events.
Maria holds a PhD in molecular microbiology from the University of Nottingham, where she worked on engineering bacterial strains into therapeutic delivery vectors for solid cancers. Maria has also trained as a Pharmacist, with work experience in community and hospital settings as well as big pharma companies.
Outside of work, Maria enjoys travelling, going to the theatre, trying out all sorts of new hobbies and exploring restaurants in London and Athens.
